Robert is a licensed landscape contractor (C-27), and has a lifetime of working in the gardening and landscape industry. He is the third generation of his family in working in the industry. Robert holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Fresno State University. Also, he holds a professional certification in turfgrass management from UC Riverside. The courses taken for turfgrass management include: Principals of plants growth, turfgrass species and applications, math for turfgrass and landscape mangers, foundations of turfgrass management, management skills for turfgrass and landscape managers, turfgrass irrigation and drainage, turfgrass pests, pesticide use on turfgrass and ornamental plants, soil fertility and fertilizers, and Chemistry for environmental and agricultural professionals. Turfgrass management has taught Robert to gain awareness in the latest trends in sustainability in order to make informed decisions on how to best utilize resources.
